Job Description Summary

Position Objective: The Director, Games Support is accountable for managing the administrative and support functions between Sunbelt, and other Games stakeholders. These areas include legal, human resources, finance, sustainability, compliance, credentialing and safety. This role will ensure team members are actively engaged, thoroughly communicating, and delivering between the organizations. This includes project tracking, reporting, and other deliverables required as part of the game’s partnership.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understand the needs of the various Games stakeholders.
  • Manage the relationship between Games Stakeholders and ensure deliverables are executed on time. Examples of this could include liaising with Marketing, Operations, and other key areas.
  • Manage internal and external reporting and cadence including project financials, partnership programs, safety, sustainability, and other key functions
  • Liaison between other Sunbelt divisions (Operations, Marketing, Rental Operations) and provide recommendations on best ways to navigate the landscape to ensure successful delivery of the games and overall Sunbelt project financials.
  • Provide recurring updates internally to the leadership team including, but not limited to, rebate tracking, value-in-kind (VIK) tracking, compliance/governance, and project performance

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in large sporting Games including FIFA World Cups, and other international competitions
  • Experience interfacing with organizing committees at both global and local levels
  • Positive and professional demeanor with the ability to interface with customers as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills with heavy attention to detail required.
  • Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS applications. (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Wynne experience not required but heavily preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $136,800.00 - 188,100.00
