The Sunbelt Rentals Veterans Program was purpose-built to assist with challenges faced by our multinational veteran population and is focused on the four pillars of - resources, recruitment, recognition, and retention.
We implement tailored resources for our veteran team members and their families. We specifically focus on providing accommodation support including teammate connections and benefit guidance.
We've introduced several company initiatives to help military and veterans show their service pride, including our Sunbelt Salute Coin, awarded for their service and sacrifice.
We actively recruit members of the armed forces through job fairs and strategic partnerships. We embrace their strengths that served them in the military as we grow together.
We provide focused, individualized support during the first 90 days to ensure a smooth, stress-free transition out of uniform and into the private sector, including our Veteran Ambassador Program.
Every year 200,000 service members transition out of the military. Sunbelt Rentals is fully committed to helping our service members as they transition out of active duty through the DoD SkillBridge Program. SkillBridge is an opportunity for Service Members to gain hands-on, civilian job skills through Sunbelt Rentals internships and mentoring during the last 180 days of military service. The Sunbelt Rentals partnership with the DoD SkillBridge Program connects Service Members with job experiences designed to aid them in finding meaningful and gainful employment after discharge. Sunbelt Rentals is an approved Dept of Defense SkillBridge vendor and has developed a 16-week program to meet the requirements for program participation.
