Workers' Comp Claim Manager

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Workers' Comp Claim Manager. As a Workers' Compensation Claim Manager, you will be responsible for mitigating the organization's exposure to risk by interfacing with safety and applying solid technical claim management direction to the third party claim adjudicators.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working knowledge of the state specific statutes in approximately 37 states.
• Monitor and introduce workers compensation statutory changes to respective regions and ensure compliance.
• Work closely with Regional Safety Managers, operational personnel, and claim adjusters
regarding effective return to work strategies on a modified and full release basis.
• Coordinate and perform quarterly claim review with various third party administrators.
• Manage and position all claims for the most expedient and favorable outcome.
• Assist with and ensure insurance-related administrative processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree. Associate in Claims and/or Associate in Risk management is preferred, but not required.
• 2 years Worker's Compensation claim management experience; 5 years experience is preferred.
• Other requirements:
• Knowledge of claim/risk management information systems such as e-CARMA, RiskTrac, or STARS.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
