Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:
 

• Assist with servicing and processing returned camera equipment orders, including determining possible missing equipment and performing technical inspections for potential damages.
• Assist in servicing and cleaning of cinema lenses and filters
• Assist in repairs and diagnosing of camera and related equipment
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness/organization of the camera equipment, warehouse organization and general departmental work areas.
• Pull order and assist camera clients as required
• Some driving may be required at times
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• In-depth technical/mechanical knowledge of current digital imaging and related camera equipment/accessories (ARRI, Sony, Preston, Teradek specifically).
• Comfort with basic soldering and electrical repairs
• Basic Excel proficiency
• 1-2 years’ experience working in a camera rental house an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours/shifts when needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail required.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.
